Employment Opportunities

Addictions Counselor 

Full time professional positions providing substance abuse services to adult clients in various levels of care. Responsibilities include assessment, individual, family and group counseling. Excellent documentation and communication skills required. Candidates shall hold certification from IAODAPCA or licensure as an LPC, LCPC, LSW or LCSW or attain same within 2 years of employment in the substance abuse field, in compliance with 2060 regulation.  Master's degree in a social service discipline preferred.

Monitor

Full time hourly direct service position available in our substance abuse programs.  Responsibilities include client supervision, crisis intervention and facility monitoring in our 24-hour client services for youth or adults.  Work schedule to include evenings, nights and weekends. A valid Illinois driver's license is required.

Healthcare Technician - LPN,RN, or EMT

Full or part time Position in our Healthcare Unit. Candidates shall hold license as a LPN, RN or EMT. Work hours to include evenings, nights and weekends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

COOK

Full time position available in the kitchen at the Hour House. Work hours to include days, evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include food preparation, serving and kitchen cleaning. Food service sanitation certification and valid Illinois driver's license required.

Internship Program Services

CEAD Council offers internship opportunities for higher education students from area accredited colleges or universities. Students will be interviewed and placed in the agency based on their interests and educational needs. Due to the diversity of the services offered by CEAD Council, a wide variety of needs may be met.
