Substance abuse certification and/or licensure required. Prior management experience and/or MA or Ph.D. preferred. Responsibilities in community prevention, youth intervention, outpatient, residential and extended care programs in the areas of policy and procedures maintenance, compliance, grant writing, clinical supervision, program development and evaluation.

Adult Services Director

Responsibilities in adult intervention, outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential and extended care programs in the areas of policy and procedures maintenance, compliance, grant writing, clinical supervision, program development and evaluation.

Healthcare Technician — EMT or LPN

Full or part time position available in our Social Setting Detoxification Program located at the Hour House. Work hours to include evenings, nights and weekends. Current license as an EMT or LPN required.

Addiction Counselor

Full time position available in our Adult Residential Program at the Hour House and Adolescent Outpatient Program in Mattoon. Responsibilities include assessment, individual, family and group counseling. Candidates shall hold certification from IAODAPCA or licensure as an LPC, LCPS, LSW or LCSW or attain same within 2 years of employment. Excellent documentation skills required.

HIV Counselor

Full time professional position available in our HIV Counseling and Testing Program.  Responsibilities include provision of direct service, including educational presentations, individual risk reduction counseling, HIV testing and follow-up services.  Excellent organization, documentation and communication skills required.

Full time position available in the kitchen at the Hour House. Work hours to include days, evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include food preparation, serving and kitchen cleaning. Food service sanitation certification and valid Illinois driver's license required.

Accounting Clerk

Full time position available in the accounting department at the Hour House.  Responsibilities include various accounting, clerical and accuracy review functions.  Excellent computer skills and data accuracy required.

Internship Program Services

CEAD Council offers internship opportunities for higher education students from area accredited colleges or universities. Students will be interviewed and placed in the agency based on their interests and educational needs. Due to the diversity of the services offered by CEAD Council, a wide variety of needs may be met.
